1.  There is a tremendous demand for exceptional cleaning service companies. This demand will grow as Baby Boomers get older. A tsunami of potential customers is coming your way.

2.  You can get your own home cleaned “for free,” (kinda).

3.  You can have short working hours. For example, my business is open between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

4.  The profit margin is outrageously good. It can be as high as 40% even with employees. 25% to 30% is more likely, however.

5.  When you prove your team is great, your customers will love you and your employees.

6.  Reoccurring revenue. You get hired once by a weekly or biweekly customer and you have income coming in every week or two. That adds up fast. One biweekly client who spends $100 per cleaning is $2,600/year. Now do that 100 times more to gross $260,000/year or a net income at 30% is $78,000. I could live on that. 100 customers is 10 cleanings per day. You’ll need about 6 cleaners to handle this amount of work.

7.  Extremely low startup costs. Use what you have around your home for supplies, then stock up when the money comes in.

8.  Tired of being lonely? You’ll have lots of interactions with customers and employees.

9.  Follow my advice and you’ll have income and free time both. Sounds good, huh?

10.  You’ll be helping your employees to make ends meet, buy a car, go out to eat, etc. You’re doing good works.

11.  No weekends or holidays unless you want to work those days.

12.  Not for everyone, but if you have a bit of a belly and want to work in your business, you can lose that extra weight and keep it off. This works for me with my window cleaning business.
